Description

Job Summary: While working under the supervision of the HR Admin and General Manager, the HR Intern will coordinate and administer various human resources programs such as compiling and maintaining all personnel records, interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring marketing campaigns, and assisting with new hire orientation.

 

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Contacts applicants to schedule interviews
  • May conduct student interviews
  • Assists with posting jobs and sourcing qualified candidates
  • Schedule new hire orientation
  • Schedule open interview sessions
  • Assists with new hire orientation, including paperwork
  • Maintain accurate employee files.
  • Maintains bulletin board postings on campus
  • Performs other duties as necessary
  • Maintain a professional image
  • May speak at New Student Orientation about job opportunities
  • May table to recruit for student positions
  • May attend job fairs
  • Generates HR reports as assigned
  • Other duties assigned by GM

 

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience preferred 
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs.
