Description

Position Summary: The Logistics Associate is responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, oversight of warehouse shipping process, managing inventory levels, ordering, data entry, filing, etc. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize ‘Ship Station’ software to generate product batchers for packers to ship.
  • Print shipping labels and custom label messages to go inside packages.
  • Run reports to monitor what orders need to be created and shipped.
  • Oversee the shipping process to ensure tracking information goes out to on time.
  • Inventory level management and organization.
  • Interface with packers on shipment fulfillment.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience preferred 
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires frequent performing of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
