Description

Monitor the service of alcoholic beverages at bars and cafes and observe compliance with Alcohol Service Policy.

Observe and record instances of violations of the alcohol service policies or procedures.

Complete all alcohol compliance reports and documentation as required.

Review alcohol service policies and procedures with all employees serving alcohol to be sure that the alcohol service policies and procedures are understood and followed.

Respond knowledgeably to employee questions and concerns and instruct all employees who may need assistance.

Address server non-compliance in a courteous and professional manner.

Monitor guest behavior, reporting any instances of underage drinking, intoxicated guests or guests supplying alcohol to minors and address problems in a courteous and professional manner.  

Audit signage and paperwork for all stands serving alcohol and track all points of sale.

Provide support for all bar areas serving the location and assist or direct utility staff as needed during set up or close.

Lifting up to 20 pounds.

Training is provided

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Prior Barback experience preferred.  
  • Must be able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment and be a self-motivator.  
  • Will spend majority of time walking, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and carrying.
  • Must be able to lift 131 pounds (full keg).
  • Must be able to spend entire shift on their feet.
  • Must be TEAM certified or obtain TEAM certification in probationary period.
