Description

Position Summary:  This position will be under the supervision of the Unit Control Manager, Candidate must be detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years Account Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position. Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner. Must have knowledge of general accounting principals and be proficient  in MS Office (especially Excel).

Must have a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with higher levels of management.

 

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make daily collection calls
  • Conduct account research and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain various reports
  • Maintain an accurate aging report
  • Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
  • Send statement to outstanding customers
  • Reconcile A/R to the G/L
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
  • Conduct Monthly Cashier Audits
  • Enter and maintain data in Cater Tracks

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Prior experience and understanding of  Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel.
 
Equipment Used:
Telephone, Calculator,Photocopier,MICROS POS System, Computer, Fax Machine
 
Travel Requirements:   Little or No Travel (>10%)
 
Lifting Requirements: 
LIGHT - Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds
