Description

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • This position requires that the employee be able to perform the following duties:

     

    •  Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles within the immediate facility boundaries or to other locations off property as required. 
    • Operating a variety of vehicles to specific locations, driving a shuttle van, directing traffic or other related duties when directed to do so.
    • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
    • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
    • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
    • Perform “other” job-related duties as assigned by management, which achieve the established goals of Aramark and the client.

Physical Requirements:

 

The physical requirements of the position include, but are not limited to the following and any or all may be required throughout a standard shift (normally 8 hrs).  The position requires that the following physical requirements be met in order to meet client requirements and to ensure the safety of other employees and customers at the facility.

 

  • Hearing and vision within correctable limits
  • Bodily motions normally related to operating a motor vehicle
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, walking, bending & twisting to a significant degree
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles
  • Climbing stairs
  • The ability to work outdoors in all types of weather

 

Additional Job Functions:

  • Work in other areas or departments as needed
  • Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to read, write and clearly understand and speak English
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Previous driving experience preferred
  • 3 years of verifiable driving history (CDL and non-CDL)
  • Clean driving record
  • Willingness to gain a good understanding of all properties as well as the activities and amenities offered for guests

  • Telephone, CB radio, 

 
Travel Requirements: 

  • Little or No Travel (>10%)

 
Lifting Requirements:  

  • MEDIUM - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
